 David Schein cofounded One Love AIDS/HIV Awareness Theater with a troupe of Ethiopian street kids in Awassa Ethiopia. . For many years One Love toured market-places throughout Ethiopia, performing shows about HIV, female circumcision  and gender equality.  MYethiOPIA is a story of cross-cultural folly and triumph,  culminating in One Love's first market-place performance when a riot broke out, and Viola Spolin's 'Trust Exercise" saved the day.

David Schein drums and chants heartbeats in 5/4 and 7/4  as he  follows a camera into his left anterior descending cardiac artery on the day he keeled over  in the YMCA and woke up watching a  "surgeon in a turban" place a stent inside  his heart.

"Some of our mothers thought of us though they never knew the sum of us or the din of us. Under the covers the others were done with us and the dung of us is anonymous isn’t it? Dunning us of all that was coming to us, stunning us with honey, stuh…stuh…stuh…stunting us and hunting us.
