David Schein has worked in many genres; performer, writer, composer, teacher and jack-of-all-arts. His work ranges writing for and performing with Whoopi Goldberg to making theater with street kids in African markets to performing his own solo work around the world, to writing and producing large-cast musical theater pieces, to teaching creative writing and singing his songs and playing his Ukulele in obscure open mics in his home-state of Vermont. Currently he is performing a selection of original shows and conducting workshops on building performance work from improv. He is available to mentor other artists on their performance or literary works. His musical journey through his memories of his hometown - Queen City Songs - will open in Burlington, VT in August 2026.
